Public Version Of Fuse Now Available

Fuse is a powerful ActionScript 2 tweening library that allows you to create some fantastic animated effects in Flash. If you're interested in the development of this library, and of Flash in general, I also recommend reading the white paper. It is interesting to note the author's rationale for not porting Fuse to AS 3. We are definitely in a curious moment in Flash history, when AS2 has incredibly robust libraries and APIs, while AS3 is still just getting a foothold. Inevitably, AS3 will become dominant over time, but many projects today still make more sense to do in AS2.
