Flash 10 For Smart Phones
Flash Camp was cool last night (thanks Adobe), and I can't wait to start poking around in the Flex 4 / Flash Catalyst beta CD they gave out. To me the biggest news, however, was Kelly Lynch mentioning that development of Flash 10 for 6 major smartphone brands -- including of course iPhone. I hope Adobe learned their lessons from the failures of FlashLite, and is ready to enter the mobile space in a big way!

Wait a second... Did you say they announced Flash support for the Iphone O.o?

Failures? I thought Flash Lite was quite successful.

It is odd that no one has picked up on the news, but to me it definitely seemed they were talking full Flash Player 10 on smart phones. The video is up: http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/flash/videos/flashcamp/keynote/
Don't get me started on FlashLite. :/ While I'm sure some people were able to build and deploy apps. with it, I feel it was a major failure on a variety of levels.

Hm. I just checked the video. I believe the smartphone announcement was during the Q&A section after the keynote, so you may just have to take my word for it.
